Starting in Madagascar’s capital, Antananarivo, we will visit stunning places such as the private nature reserve of Anjajavy and the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, home to endemic species such as the lemur and the chameleon. We will also visit the Berenty Reserve, home to the striped-tailed lemurs, and the Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, where we can photograph the beauty of the primary forest and waterfalls of the region.
Our trip will be guided by professional photographers who will share their techniques and knowledge to help improve our photographic skills. We will also stay in luxury accommodation and enjoy exquisite local cuisine while immersing ourselves in the culture and history of Madagascar.

Day 1 (11-09-24). Arrival in Antananarivo
Welcome to Madagascar, the fourth largest island in the world. It is home to an impressive biodiversity and culture. After landing at Antananarivo’s Ivato International Airport, our team will meet you and take you to your hotel in the city center.
After settling in, you will have the opportunity to rest and recover from your trip. Depending on your arrival time, we may choose to take a short city tour to photograph the historical monuments of the capital, such as the Royal Hill of Ambohimanga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel, preparing for the exciting photographic journey ahead.

Day 2 (12-09-24). Fly to land of dancing lemurs
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Fort Dauphin, a city located in the southeastern part of Madagascar. Fort Dauphin is known for its exceptional scenery and is often referred to as “the city at the end of the world”.
Upon arrival, you will visit the Nahampoana Reserve, a remarkable 50-hectare nature reserve that is home to an amazing range of endemic fauna and flora. The reserve is home to the great propithecus “Sifakas,” which roam freely in the area, as well as a diverse range of typical flora of the South .
After your visit to Nahampoana Reserve, you’ll resume your journey and head to Berenty.
In the evening, before dinner, take a memorable one-hour night walk through the Berenty reserve. During this excursion, you’ll encounter a wide variety of nocturnal species, such as lepilemur, mouse lemur, birds, chameleons, and bats.

Day 3 (13-10-24). Berenty reserve
Prepare for a full day of immersive nature exploration at Berenty Reserve.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the stunning gallery forest and encounter a diverse range of fascinating wildlife, including maki, Verreaux’s propithecus, red-fronted lemurs, and white-footed lemurs in their dormitory. You’ll also have the chance to observe a variety of bird species, such as giant couas, crested couas, and paradise flycatchers.
Take a short walk in the thorny forest and keep your eyes peeled for possible encounters with the Madagascar eagle owl in its dormitory or the tiny spider turtle in its natural habitat.
After a full day of exploration, return to the hotel in the afternoon, feeling truly immersed in the incredible natural wonders of Madagascar.

Day 4 (14-09-24). Return back to Antananarivo
Today, we fly back to the Capital. Then, you can spend the day as you please at your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you can take a short tour of the city, in option, and photograph the historical monuments of the capital.

Day 5 (15-09-24). Flight to the “Land of Baobabs“
You are all set to fly to Morondava today. Morondava is known as the “land of the baobabs” due to the presence of these giant trees that are more than 30 meters high 1.
Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to visit the Avenue of Baobabs, which is a remarkable landscape that is part of the famous postcards known throughout the world. These 800-year-old trees line both sides of the road for about twenty kilometers, offering an idyllic setting for a photo safari . The Baobab Alley is of incomparable beauty and is impossible to miss.

Day 6 (16-09-24). Morondava – Bekopaka
After an early breakfast, you will head to Bekopaka. The journey is a day-long drive that is full of fascinating discoveries.
In the evening, you will embark on a memorable night walk along the Tsingy. The Tsingy is a remarkable geological formation that is characterized by its sharp limestone pinnacles and deep canyons. During this excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of nocturnal animal species, such as lemurs, birds, and bats

Day 7 (17-09-24). Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park
A full day hiking in the Grand Tsingy. Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the entrance of the Bemaraha National Park, at the foot of the Grands Tsingys.
This integral nature reserve has been classified as a World Heritage
Site by UNESCO since the 90s. Karst landscape and limestone massif in the form of sharp peaks, results of climate change, erosion that occurred several hundred thousand years ago, the Tsingys of Bemaraha are full of endemic flora that has admirably adapted to the relief, lakes and mangroves serving as a natural habitat for several species
of animals like lemurs including Decken ‘s Sifaka only visible in these tsingys, and other rare bird species such as giant coas, cristatàs.
Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.

Day 8 (18-09-24). Bekopaka – Morondava
After breakfast, you will leave Bekopaka and return to Morondava. On your way, you will have the opportunity to visit the “Baobab Alley,” which is a remarkable landscape that is often referred to as the “Portal of the Central Menabe” . The Alley is home to a remarkable group of Grandidier’s baobabs (Adansonia grandidieri) that line the unpaved Road No.8 between Morondava and Belon’i Tsiribihina in the Menabe region of western Madagascar .
In addition to the Alley, you will also have the opportunity to see the “Baobab in Love,” which is a unique tree belonging to the species Adansonia fony. This tree has two trunks intertwined like a couple in love, making it a freakish and unique shape .
The Baobab Alley and Baobab in Love offer a beautiful setting where it feels like time has stopped. Sunset is the best time to enjoy this remarkable landscape, as the sky is different from usual .
Arrival in Morondava is envisaged at the end of the afternoon.
