DAY 1 (17-02-2024). ARRIVAL – KEFLAVIK – REIKIAVIK
Your exciting adventure in Iceland begins with your arrival at Keflavík International Airport (KEF), where our team will be waiting for you with a warm welcome.
After collecting your luggage, we will escort you to our comfortable vehicle, which will take you to Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. The drive takes about 50 minutes, during which you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the Icelandic countryside.
Upon arrival in Reykjavik, you will be dropped off at your hotel, the Centerhotel Laugavegur, located in the heart of the city. After settling into your room, you will have time to rest and recover from your journey.
In the afternoon, we will meet in the hotel lobby to meet the group and take a walking tour of the city. We will visit some of Reykjavík’s most iconic sights, such as the National Museum of Iceland, Allgrímskirkja and Harpa Concert Hall.

DAY 2 (18-02-2024). SNAEFELLSNES – SKOGAFOSS – VIK
We will start our fourth day with a sunrise photo session at Kirkjufell, one of Iceland’s most iconic landscapes.
Afterwards, we will head towards the south coast of the country, where epic landscapes and spectacular waterfalls await us that will take anyone’s breath away.
The first stop will be at Skógafoss waterfall, one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. With its 60 meters high, it is an impressive waterfall that offers endless photographic possibilities.
We can get close to the base of the waterfall to capture the texture of the water rushing into the river, or take a wider perspective to show the waterfall framed by the snowcovered cliffs.
We will continue our drive to the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, one of Iceland’s most stunning beaches.
At the end of the day, we will explore the possibility of photographing the Northern Lights, one of the most spectacular natural phenomena in the world.

DAY 3 (19-02-2024). VATNAJOKULL NATIONAL PARK
Today we will enter the stunning Vatnajökull National Park, a place of incredible natural beauty.
During the morning we will explore its landscapes of lava rocks, glittering glaciers and breathtaking waterfalls, as well as desert-like stretches of black sand dotted with glistening white snow.
In the afternoon we will plunge into the serenity of the glacial lagoon of Jökulsárlón, where large icebergs float on the surface of the water, before drifting out to sea.
As the sun begins to set, we will head to the diamond beach, where we will have the opportunity to capture the magnificent sunlight shining through the ice chunks on the shore. This beach is perfect for practicing long exposure techniques, as the waves sweep over the icebergs lying on the black sand, creating a dreamy slow motion effect.
In the evening, we will explore the possibility of photographing the Northern Lights, an experience that will take your breath away.

DAY 4 (20-02-2024). VATNAJOKULL NATIONAL PARK
We will start the day with a sunrise photo session at the impressive Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon.
Afterwards, we will have the exciting opportunity to visit and photograph an Ice Cave on a 4-hour excursion.
We will spend the rest of the day photographing some of the beautiful locations in this area.
In the evening we may have another opportunity to photograph the Northern Lights, we will try to capture them over the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon or the nearby Fjallsarlon.

DAY 5 (21-02-2024). HOFN – STOKKSNES
Sunrise at the diamond beach.
After breakfast, we will drive to the Stokksnes Peninsula, home to the impressive Vestrahorn Mountain.
This mountain has been nicknamed “Batman Mountain” for its jagged peaks, resembling the iconic superhero himself. Its foreground is full of compositions, from rolling black sand dunes amidst the snow, to grassy crops and icy puddles. Depending on the tide, we may be able to photograph Vestrahorn’s reflection on the nearby beach, or the waves crashing around him.
We will continue photographing at Vestrahorn until the sun sets, in the hope that the Northern Lights will unfold over this impressive mountain.

DAY 6 (22-02-2024). HOFN – VIK – SELJA
We will enter the Skaftafell Nature Reserve, famous for its beautiful scenery. Here, you will be able to photograph glacier tongues, lagoons, the peaks of majestic snow-capped mountains, frozen waterfalls and rivers flowing from glaciers.
We will visit the Fjadrargljufur canyon.
For sunset, we will return along the south coast to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
Accommodation: Hotel Selja.
DAY 7 (23-02-2024). GULFOSS – GESYR – PINGVELLIR NP – KEFLAVIK
Today we will explore the natural wonders of the Golden Circle, which include the three main attractions of the route: the impressive Þingvellir National Park, where we can observe the tectonic rifts between the continental plates of Eurasia and America, the fascinating geothermal area of Geysir, where we will see the famous Strokkur geyser spewing hot water 20 meters high; and the impressive Gullfoss Waterfall, whose powerful waters fall in two stages into a deep canyon.
When we have finished photographing along the Golden Circle, we will return to Keflavik for the group’s final dinner.
