DAY 1 (29-04-2024). WINDHOEK
Representatives of Namaste Photo Tours in Namibia, will be waiting for you upon your arrival at the international airport in Windhoek International Airport (WDH), and then transfer you to the hotel.
Free afternoon to recover from the long flight.
Some time later, the whole group will gather to enjoy an exquisite welcome dinner (Joe's Beer House).Joe's Beer House) and to have a photo safari briefing.
DAY 2 (30-04-2024). WINDHOEK - NAMIB NAUFLUFT PARK
Today after breakfast we will drive to the Namib-Naukluft Namib-Naukluft National Park.
Lunch en route included.
In the afternoon we will be able to enjoy the impressive red dunes of the NamibIn the afternoon, we will go deep into the desert, to end the day photographing the sunset.
DAY 3 (01-05-2024). NAMIB NAUFLUFT PARK
Today, after opening the gates to the park, we will head to the spectacular white clay basin of of Deadvlei.
In this extraordinary basin, surrounded by dunes, you can find the skeletal remains of ancient petrified trees up to 1000 years old, forming surreal compositions, either alone or in groups.
In the afternoon we will go to Dunes 45 and 7, to photograph them at leisure, during the changing lights of the sunset.
DAY 4 (02-05-2024). NAMIB PARK - SWAKOPMUND
After breakfast at the lodge, we will be on our way to Swakopmund. Swakopmund, a coastal town with colonial charm (400km).
We will arrive at the hotel and settle into our rooms.
To end the day, we will enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the local restaurants, where we will be able to taste a delicious fish or seafood.
DAY 5 (03-05-2024). SWAKOPMUND - SANDWICH HARBOUR
Free morning to enjoy the beautiful city of Swakopmund at our leisure. Swakopmundwhere we can go shopping or simply stroll through its German-style streets.
In the afternoon, we will live a unique experience at Sandwich Harbour, where the desert and the sea meet, and we will drive through the impressive dunes in 4×4 vehicles, admiring the landscape and wildlife.
Dinner will be at one of the best restaurants in Swakopmund, where we will enjoy fresh fish and other seafood.
DAY 6 (04-05-2024). SWAKOPMUND - SPITZKOPPE
Today we continue our adventure in Namibia by heading to the incredible granite formations of Spitzkoppe.
These mountainous structures, rising gradually from the desert floor, are one of the country's most recognizable landmarks.
Millions of years of weathering have resulted in a remarkable variety of geological forms throughout this area, including striking boulders and arching rock formations that reach deep into the blue depths of the sky.
We will spend the night in the charming chalets of the Spitzkoppe Lodgeset amidst vast expanses of pristine sand and granite rocks at the foot of the spectacular mountains. Nestled in volcanic rocks, the lodge offers an incredible swimming pool where you can relax upon arrival.
In the afternoon, there will be time to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the desert environment, before heading back out for an evening photo session on the peaks of Spitzkoppe. Although the morning light is stunning, the sunset among the magnificent rock formations of the mountain is especially beautiful with the red light on the rocks.
We will stay late to have the opportunity to photograph the granite landscapes, rock arches and huge boulders under an incredible starry night sky.
DAY 7 (05-05-2024). SPITZKOPPE - DAMARALAND
Today we continue our adventure in Namibia by heading to Damaraland..
In the afternoon we will leave in search of the last elephants in the desert, as well as other wildlife, such as giraffes Giraffes, antelopesand hopefully Rhinos.
DAY 8 (06-05-2024). DAMARALAND
In the morning, we will visit the rock paintings in this area, which are one of Namibia's cultural treasures. These paintings, made by ancient hunter-gatherers, depict scenes of daily life, animals and human figures, some of which are more than 30,000 years old.
In the afternoon, we will venture out on safari to look for desert elephants, which have adapted to the arid conditions of this region. We will also have the opportunity to see other animals, such as giraffes, antelopes and perhaps rhinos.
DAY 9 (07-05-2024). DAMARALAND - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Today, after breakfast, we will head to Etosha National Park, stopping at a Himba village to photograph and interact with this spectacular tribe.
Etosha is one of the largest and most spectacular in Africa. The park is characterized by a huge salt pan that extends over 4,800 km² and can be seen from space.
This first day we will stay in the western part of the park, at the Dolomite Resort, an exclusive camp offering panoramic views of the plains and hills.
In the afternoon, we will go on our first photo safari in the park, taking advantage of the evening light. Etosha is home to a wide variety of animals such as elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras and gazelles.
DAY 10 (08-05-2024). ETOSHA PARK
Full day open 4×4 safari in the interior of Etosha National Park.
The park owes its unique landscape to a generally dry lake basin of approximately 5,000 km².
Of the 114 mammal species, several are endemic, unique and difficult to find in other parts of Africa, and are endangered, such as the Rhinoceros and Black Dik Dik, the Cheetah and the Black-fronted Impala.
DAY 11 (09-05-2024). ETOSHA PARK - ERINDI PRIVATE RESERVE
Today we continue our safari through Etosha National Park, arriving at the Erindi Private Reserve. Erindi Private Reservea place of different landscape and conception, with private management.
Lunch included and then afternoon safari.
We will also carry out a cheetah or wild dog tracking activity with radio frequency, accompanied by park rangers.
Erindi is a natural paradise that is home to a large number of endemic species and conservation projects.
DAY 12 (10-05-2024). PRIVATE RESERVE OF ERINDI - WINDHOEK
Morning game drive in the Erindi Private Reserve.
Lunch, and departure to Windhoek.
