During a series of private sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet and photograph locals as they herd Bactrian camels across the sands of southern Mongolia. You will also have the opportunity to witness a profoundly special event: a private viewing of the Golden Eagle Festival in Western Mongolia. This private session with Kazakh eagle hunters is the perfect opportunity to experience the ancient art of eagle falconry and witness how they celebrate their heritage. DAY 1 (26-08-2024). ULAN BATOR
Upon arrival at ULN airport in Ulaanbaatar, you will be met by our guides and transferred to your hotel.
After a well-deserved rest, we will take a short tour of the city, including Chinggis Khaan Square and the National Museum of History.
Accommodation is provided at the Best Western UB Hotel, an exceptional choice for your stay in Ulaanbaatar.
DAY 2 (27-08-2024). ULAN BATOR - KHUSTAI NATIONAL PARK
After enjoying breakfast, we will head to a traditional lifestyle show of Mongolian nomads.
After delighting in the spectacle, we will further indulge in a traditional Mongolian lunch and then head to the impressive Khustai National Park.
During the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to see the majestic Mongolian wild horses in all their splendor.
In the evening, we will return to UB, where we will stay at the comfortable Best Western UB Hotel.
DAY 3 (28-08-2024). ULAN BATOR - DALANZADGAD - GOBI DESERT
Today we will take a domestic flight from UB to Dalanzadgad (the flight takes 1.5 hours). Please note that the flight schedule is published in March, so in case there are no flights we will travel by car from Ulaanbaatar (no additional cost).
Depending on the arrival time of the flight we can also have our first session in the sand dunes of Khongor at sunset.
We will spend the night at the Ger tourist camp (Gobi Erdene camp).
DAY 4 (29-08-2024). GOBI DESERT
We will get an early start to enjoy a sunrise photography session in the spectacular Khongor Dunes, which stretch for over 130 km. These dunes are one of the largest and most beautiful sandy areas in Mongolia.
During this photo session, we will have the opportunity to meet the camels and a local shepherd who will guide us through the dunes to capture the best pictures.
As we admire the first rays of light in the Gobi Desert, we can marvel at the breathtaking curves and majestic mountains on the horizon, which turn pink in the morning sun.
After the session, we will have free time to rest and enjoy our camp.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy an unforgettable sunset on the dunes and have a night photo session under a starry sky.
We will stay at the Gobi Erdene camp, a ger tourist camp that offers an authentic experience of Mongolian culture and traditions. Here we can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the desert after a day full of adventures.
DAY 5 (30-08-2024). KHONGOR - BAYANZAG
After a comforting breakfast, we will depart for Bayanzag, also known as the "Cliffs of Fire" due to the intense red color they acquire at sunset.
This area is famous for its paleontological importance, as it was here that the world's first dinosaur eggs were found. In addition, Velociraptor fossils and eutherian mammals have also been discovered.
We will enjoy the sunset from vantage points that offer spectacular views of the burning cliffs.
We will spend one night at the Mongolian Gobi Tourist Camp.
DAY 6 (31-08-2024). DALANZADGAD - ULAN BATOR
Departure from Dalanzagrad local airport back to UB (local flight takes 1.5 hours and is included in the tour price).
Accommodation: Hotel Best Western UB
DAY 7 (01-09-2024). ULAN BATOR - ULGII FLIGHT
We will start early in the morning with an approximately three-hour commercial flight from Ulaanbaatar to the city of Ulgii (scheduled departure time is 5.50 a.m.).
Once in Ulgii, we will visit a Kazakh family to learn about their daily way of life and capture authentic photographs of the experience.
We will also have the opportunity to meet a group of eagle hunters and enjoy a breathtaking sunset with the majestic mountains as a backdrop.
After sunset, we will return to the town of Ulgii in our Land Cruisers, the drive back to the hotel takes about an hour and a half on a gravel road.
We will be staying at the Makhsum Hotel in the town of Ulgii to rest after an exciting day of adventures.
DAY 8 (02-09-2024). ULGII - KAZAKH FAMILY
Today is a day to relax and rest, without the need to get up early to see the sunrise. After a leisurely breakfast, we will head back to the same area to meet the Kazakh family.
What makes this day truly special is the private eagle festival that has been organized exclusively for our group. This festival is a showcase of the locals' commitment to preserving traditional Kazakh heritage. We will see Kazakhs on horseback in their dark coats and scarlet hats, while golden eagles flutter in their arms. This will be an incredible sight and a rare opportunity to see golden eagles up close.
We will have a group of 8-10 hunters with eagles, which will allow us to enjoy a variety of experiences and capture a multitude of photographs in different scenarios; if you wish, you can even let one of these majestic birds perch on your arm for a memorable photo.
After this impressive day, we will return to the hotel Makhsum in Olgii in our Land Cruiser (1-1,5 hours drive on gravel road).
You will be able to rest and relax after such an exciting day full of unforgettable experiences.
DAY 9 (03-09-2024). ULGII - HUNTERS WITH EAGLES
Today we will enjoy a day full of emotions organizing private sessions with a total of five eagle hunters in the foothills of the Altai Mountains.
The impressive sacred mountain Tsambagarav (4208m) will serve as a backdrop for our photographs. The location offers a 360 degree view with sharp rocky mountains on one side and majestic snow-capped mountains on the other.
In the evening we will return to our accommodation at the Makhsum Hotel.
DAY 10 (04-09-2024). ULGII - ULAN BATOR
DAY 11 (05-09-2024). ULAN BATOR - END OF THE TRIP
Our drivers will take you to UB airport (ULN code).
You can choose any flight on this day, a private transfer will be arranged.

Cancellation and refund:
We understand that attending our trips requires a prior commitment and also that things may happen in life that force you to cancel a trip. Depending on the date of cancellation, the following conditions apply:
- More than 150 days before the start date of the workshop: full reimbursement of payments made.
- Between 150 and 91 days before the start of the workshop: 50% of the reservation fee will be refunded.
- 90-46 days before the start of the workshop: 35% of the reservation fee will be refunded.
- Within 45 days prior to the start of the workshop: No refund.
RESPONSIBILITY
Health:
Participants must be in general good health. Any medical or dietary restrictions must be communicated to us well in advance. We will inform the relevant supplier of your requirements, but we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met and have no liability to you if they are not.
Vaccinations, obtaining visas and all other travel or medical related arrangements are the responsibility of the participant. We advise you to check the latest advice online or consult your doctor.
Cancellation by Namaste Premium Travel:
Namaste is not responsible for events beyond its control, such as strikes, wars, acts of government, acts of terrorism, epidemics, or any other cause beyond its control, which may make it impossible, illegal or inadvisable to carry out the trip.
If there are compelling reasons for Namaste Premium Travel to cancel a trip, all payments received will be refunded immediately.
This reimbursement will be the limit of Namaste Premium Travel's liability.

3.A. Respect and patience are the basis of a successful Journey. Participants may be at different levels of knowledge about the subject matter, so patience is required when explaining topics that are already in their domain. Each participant's area of photographing must be respected. Disrespect from a participant to another trip member or staff member will not be allowed.
- Weather:
4.A. The tour and its itinerary are weather dependent and may change from one moment to another. We will always be aware of the best weather conditions to determine where to go and optimize the itinerary.
The main trail is easy to moderate in terms of activity. Most locations in the West, even in the mountains, are right next to the car parking. First and second locations in Western Mongolia - 50-100 m from the car. The third location in Western Mongolia involves 300 m of walking with 20-30 m of ascent on a 20%-30% slope to reach a small scenic hill. In the Gobi desert you have to be prepared to walk through sand dunes. It is usually a 30-40 minute walk to the most impressive inland dunes.
Temperatures at night can be colder, so be prepared in terms of clothing.
