Join this magical 12-day photographic journey through Japan, the land of the rising sun, to best capture its vibrant nature and fascinating culture. Japan is an enigma full of contradictions; huge cities surf the waves of innovation and offer the rest of the world a glimpse of the future, yet much of rural Japan has remained largely unchanged. The countryside is another world, dominated by pillars of ancient tradition, spiritual temples and nature in its splendor.

This photography trip focuses on a combination of both, and although we will spend time in major cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, you can expect to witness and capture some of the most exquisite scenes of Japanese nature and culture first hand. In addition, this trip takes place in the best possible season: Autumn. At this time, the Japanese maple tree, Momiji, is in full bloom and its colorful leaves will decorate many of our photo shoots.

DAY 1 (10-11-2024). ARRIVAL | TOKYO

Our team will be waiting for you at Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND), to give you a warm welcome.

Transfer to the hotel in comfortable private vehicles.

In the afternoon, we will venture into the vibrant streets of Tokyo for a photo walk. We will capture the unique essence of the city as we explore iconic landmarks and discover the fusion of tradition and modernity in the Japanese capital.

Experience delicious Japanese cuisine at a welcome dinner specially selected for the group. This will be a perfect time to get to know each other, share expectations and prepare for the incredible adventure ahead.

DAY 2 (11-11-2024). TOKYO | MOUNT FUJI AREA

Morning: Breakfast at the Hotel

Start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel to recharge your batteries before the exciting day.

10 am: Departure to Mt. Fuji area.

After breakfast, we will head towards the majestic Mount Fuji region. During the journey, we will capture breathtaking views of this iconic mountain, taking advantage of photo opportunities along the way.

Afternoon: Oishil Park

We will explore the picturesque Oishil Park, where the fall colors will enhance the natural beauty of the surroundings. This will be an ideal place to capture the diversity of flora and fauna, as well as the enchanting landscapes that the autumn season offers.

Sunset: Arakurayama Sengen Park

We will head to Arakurayama Sengen Park to witness the sunset with the iconic view of Mount Fuji on the horizon. This place offers a unique and enchanting perspective that will be perfect for capturing breathtaking photos at sunset.

Evening: Dinner at Hotel or Nearby Restaurant

DAY 3 (12-11-2024). KANEYAMA | YOSHINO| YAMANAKA LAKE

Morning: Breakfast at the Hotel

After Breakfast: Kaneyama Waterfall

We will start the day exploring the breathtaking Kaneyama Waterfall, a unique and scenic natural site that offers exceptional photographic opportunities. We will capture the beauty of the waterfall surrounded by the vibrant colors of autumn.

Next Destination: Yoshino Hakkai

We will continue our journey to Yoshino Hakkai, a region known for its natural beauty and enchanting scenery. Here, we will be able to explore and photograph the most picturesque corners and unique cultural experiences this area has to offer.

Lunch: Local restaurant in the area

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring authentic Japanese cuisine.

Afternoon: Nagaike Shinsui Park and Sunset at Lake Yamanaka

We will head to Nagaike Shinsui Park to capture the beauty of Lake Yamanaka at sunset. This will be another magical moment to immortalize in photographs, with the serenity of the lake and the warm colors of the sky.

Overnight: Return to Dormy Inn Express Fujisan Gotemba

After a day full of exploration and photography, we will return to the comfort of our hotel to relax and recharge our batteries.

DAY 4 (13-11-2024). KAWAGUCHI | MOTOSU | KAWAGUCHI LAKE

Sunrise: Kawaguchi Lake or Oishi Park

Let's start the day early by capturing the magic of the sunrise at Kawaguchi Lake or exploring the beauty of Oishi Park. This will be a special time to capture the tranquil serenity of the lake and the changing colors of the sky at sunrise.

After Breakfast: Walk around Lake Motosu

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will head out for a scenic drive around Lake Motosu. This natural setting offers unique opportunities to capture the serene beauty of the lake and its surroundings.

Nakanokuratoge: 30 minutes walk from the parking lot

We will take a short hike to Nakanokuratoge, where participants will enjoy panoramic views and exceptional photographic opportunities.

Afternoon/evening: Momiji Corridor Lake Kawaguchi

We will explore Kawaguchi Lake Momiji Kairo, where the night lighting will enhance the beauty of the Japanese maples.

DAY 5 (14-11-2024) . SHOJI LAKE | HARAJUKU | KYOTO

Sunrise Session: Shoji Lake

Let's start the day with a sunrise session at beautiful Lake Shoji, capturing the serenity of the surroundings and the breathtaking views the morning has to offer.

After Breakfast: Trip to Nagano Province and Narai-juku

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Nagano province to explore and photograph Narai-juku, a traditional village that preserves the architecture and atmosphere of the Edo period.

Afternoon: Travel to Kyoto

In the afternoon, we will drive to the beautiful city of Kyoto, known for its enchanting temples, shrines and gardens. The trip will offer opportunities to capture panoramic views and unique details during the transfer.

DAY 6 (15-11-2024). ARASHIYAMA

Morning: Breakfast at the Hotel

Start the day with a nutritious breakfast at the hotel to prepare for a day full of exploration.

After Breakfast: Arashiyama

We will drive to the famous Arashiyama area, a cultural and natural jewel of Kyoto.

First Stop: Tenryuji and Traditional Japanese Garden

First, we will visit Tenryuji, where we will enjoy the views of its traditional Japanese garden. This will be a quiet place to capture the serene beauty of nature.

Bamboo Hallway and Nearby Jinjya

After passing through the garden, we will explore the famous Bamboo Hallway, capturing the majesty of this unique place. We will also visit some nearby Jinjya to immerse ourselves in the spirituality and traditional Japanese architecture.

Symbolic Place: Togetsu Bridge

We will continue our tour of Arashiyama, stopping at the iconic Togetsu Bridge, a perfect place to capture the essence of this charming area.

Afternoon: Walk through Giouji and Visit to Kinkakuji

In the afternoon, we will take a relaxing stroll through Giouji, where the tranquil surroundings will offer unique photo opportunities. Then, we will head to the famous Kinkakuji, also known as the Golden Pavilion, to capture the majesty of this impressive temple.

Night: Kitanotenmangu and its Night Illumination

We will end the day passing by Kitanotenmangu, where we will wait and enjoy its beautiful night illumination. This will be a perfect end to a day full of exploration and photography.

DAY 7 (16-11-2024). SIGA-KYU | CHIKURIN | KEISOKU-JI TEMPLE

Morning: Metasequoia Trail in Shiga

Let's start the day early and head to the Metasequoia Trail in Shiga Province, whenever the autumn colors are at their peak. This trail will offer exceptional opportunities to capture the beauty of the Metasequoias with their autumn leaves.

Later: Kyu-Chikurin and his Perfect Reflection

After the trail visit, we will head to Kyu-Chikurin, where we will enjoy its perfect reflection in the surrounding waters. This place is known for its serenity and beauty, providing a unique experience for photographers.

Afternoon: Keisoku-Ji Temple in Nagahama City

In the afternoon, we will transfer to Keisoku-Ji Temple in Nagahama City. This temple offers a tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views, providing a unique opportunity to explore and capture the architecture and spirituality of the place.

DAY 8 (17-11-2024). KIYOMIZU-DERA

Morning: Senbon Torii and Kiyomizu Temple

After breakfast, we will head to the famous Senbon Torii and Kiyomizu Temple. This iconic site offers exceptional photographic opportunities, with the impressive torii leading up to the temple and panoramic views from the wooden platform of Kiyomizu.

Afternoon: Free Time and Preparations for Night Illuminations

After exploring Kiyomizu-Dera, we will have free time for lunch and explore the surrounding Higashiyama area. You can shop in the traditional stores or enjoy the unique atmosphere of this part of Kyoto.

Night: Night Illumination of the Kodai-Ji Temple

In the evening, we will head to Kodai-Ji Temple to witness its beautiful nighttime illumination. This special atmosphere will offer unique opportunities to capture the beauty of the temple in the quiet atmosphere of the night.

Followed by the Night Illumination of Daigo-Ji Temple

We will continue the day by visiting the Daigo-Ji Temple, where the night illumination will reveal a different and magical perspective of the temple. This will be an enchanting end to the day, full of breathtaking images and unforgettable experiences.

DAY 9 (18-11-2024). NARA

Morning: Trip to Nara and Deer Photography in the Park

After breakfast, we will drive to the historic city of Nara. We will begin our exploration by photographing the deer in the famous Nara Park. This park is home to wild deer that roam freely and will provide unique opportunities to capture the interaction between these animals and the historic environment.

Afternoon: Hanayagura Observatory and Tsubosaka Temple

In the afternoon, we will head to Hanayagura Observatory to enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Yoshinoyama. This will be an ideal place to capture the beauty of the landscape and the city from a unique perspective.

Mt Wakakusa Sunset

We will end the day capturing the breathtaking sunset at Mt Wakakusa. This will be a magical moment to immortalize with photographs the beauty of nature and the city at sunset.

DAY 10 (19-11-2024). NARA

Tomorrow: Sunrise in Ukimido.

Let's start the early morning by capturing the sunrise at Ukimido, a serene and picturesque place in Nara Park. This will be a peaceful and beautiful moment to photograph the unique atmosphere of the place at the beginning of the day.

Afterwards, we will head to Nara Park to explore and photograph the majestic Ginkgo Biloba trees. These trees with their golden leaves will provide a stunning color palette for photographs.

Yoshiki River and Great Ginkgo by the Great Buddha Pond

We will continue our tour along the beautiful Yoshiki River, capturing the serenity of its waters and the surrounding landscapes.

Then, we will explore the Todaiji Temple and stop at the Great Ginkgo tree by the Great Buddha pond. This century-old tree offers a unique opportunity to capture the majesty of nature and the connection to the history of the place.

DAY 11 (20-11-2024). OSAKA

Morning: Travel to Osaka

After breakfast, we will drive to the vibrant city of Osaka. Osaka offers a unique combination of history, culture and modernity that will provide exciting opportunities for photography.

Afternoon: Exploration of Osaka

The afternoon will be dedicated to exploring some of Osaka's landmarks. Depending on preferences, we could visit the Osaka Castle, the Dotonbori district with its lively atmosphere and bright signs, or the Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine with its traditional architecture.

Sunset: Osaka Jo Park

We will end the day enjoying the sunset at Osaka Jo Park, which offers breathtaking views of Osaka Castle. This will be a magical moment to capture the city illuminated by the sunset lights.

Return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

DAY 12 (21-11-2024). END OF TRIP

On the last day of the trip, we will make sure that the departure is as pleasant as the arrival. After breakfast and final preparations, we will drive to Kansai International Airport. Kansai International AirportYou will bid farewell to Japan, taking with you unforgettable memories and beautiful photographs of this great experience.

No places will be reserved without the deposit.

Final Payment:

Payment of the final amount is due 45 days before the start of the trip.

Cancellation and refund:

We understand that attending our trips requires a prior commitment and also that things may happen in life that force you to cancel a trip. Depending on the date of cancellation, the following conditions apply:

- More than 150 days before the beginning of the trip: 100% of the amount paid to date will be refunded.

- Between 150 and 91 days before the start of the trip: 50% of the amount paid to date will be refunded.

- 90-46 days prior to departure: 35% of the amount paid to date will be refunded.

- Within 45 days prior to the start of the workshop: No refund.

Participants must be in general good health. Any medical or dietary restrictions must be communicated to us well in advance. We will inform the relevant supplier of your requirements, but we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met and have no liability to you if they are not.

Vaccinations, obtaining visas and all other travel or medical related arrangements are the responsibility of the participant. We advise you to check the latest advice online or consult your doctor.

 

Cancellation by Namaste Premium Travel:

Namaste is not responsible for events beyond its control, such as strikes, wars, acts of government, acts of terrorism, epidemics, or any other cause beyond its control, which may make it impossible, illegal or inadvisable to carry out the trip.

If there are compelling reasons for Namaste Premium Travel to cancel a trip, all payments received will be refunded immediately.

This reimbursement will be the limit of Namaste Premium Travel's liability.

In the evening, we will head to Kodai-Ji Temple to witness its beautiful nighttime illumination. This special atmosphere will offer unique opportunities to capture the beauty of the temple in the quiet atmosphere of the night.

Followed by the Night Illumination of Daigo-Ji Temple

We will continue the day by visiting the Daigo-Ji Temple, where the night illumination will reveal a different and magical perspective of the temple. This will be an enchanting end to the day, full of breathtaking images and unforgettable experiences.

DAY 9 (18-11-2024). NARA

Morning: Trip to Nara and Deer Photography in the Park

After breakfast, we will drive to the historic city of Nara. We will begin our exploration by photographing the deer in the famous Nara Park. This park is home to wild deer that roam freely and will provide unique opportunities to capture the interaction between these animals and the historic environment.

Afternoon: Hanayagura Observatory and Tsubosaka Temple

In the afternoon, we will head to Hanayagura Observatory to enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Yoshinoyama. This will be an ideal place to capture the beauty of the landscape and the city from a unique perspective.

Mt Wakakusa Sunset

We will end the day capturing the breathtaking sunset at Mt Wakakusa. This will be a magical moment to immortalize with photographs the beauty of nature and the city at sunset.

DAY 10 (19-11-2024). NARA

Tomorrow: Sunrise in Ukimido.

Let's start the early morning by capturing the sunrise at Ukimido, a serene and picturesque place in Nara Park. This will be a peaceful and beautiful moment to photograph the unique atmosphere of the place at the beginning of the day.

Afterwards, we will head to Nara Park to explore and photograph the majestic Ginkgo Biloba trees. These trees with their golden leaves will provide a stunning color palette for photographs.

Yoshiki River and Great Ginkgo by the Great Buddha Pond

We will continue our tour along the beautiful Yoshiki River, capturing the serenity of its waters and the surrounding landscapes.

Then, we will explore the Todaiji Temple and stop at the Great Ginkgo tree by the Great Buddha pond. This century-old tree offers a unique opportunity to capture the majesty of nature and the connection to the history of the place.

DAY 11 (20-11-2024). OSAKA

Morning: Travel to Osaka

After breakfast, we will drive to the vibrant city of Osaka. Osaka offers a unique combination of history, culture and modernity that will provide exciting opportunities for photography.

Afternoon: Exploration of Osaka

The afternoon will be dedicated to exploring some of Osaka's landmarks. Depending on preferences, we could visit the Osaka Castle, the Dotonbori district with its lively atmosphere and bright signs, or the Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine with its traditional architecture.

Sunset: Osaka Jo Park

We will end the day enjoying the sunset at Osaka Jo Park, which offers breathtaking views of Osaka Castle. This will be a magical moment to capture the city illuminated by the sunset lights.

Return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

DAY 12 (21-11-2024). END OF TRIP

On the last day of the trip, we will make sure that the departure is as pleasant as the arrival. After breakfast and final preparations, we will drive to Kansai International Airport. Kansai International AirportYou will bid farewell to Japan, taking with you unforgettable memories and beautiful photographs of this great experience.

PAYMENT POLICY

Reserve Deposit:

The reservation will be effective when a deposit of US $1,000
No places will be reserved without the deposit.

Final Payment:

Payment of the final amount is due 45 days before the start of the trip.

 

GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation and refund:

We understand that attending our trips requires a prior commitment and also that things may happen in life that force you to cancel a trip. Depending on the date of cancellation, the following conditions apply:

- More than 150 days before the beginning of the trip: 100% of the amount paid to date will be refunded.

- Between 150 and 91 days before the start of the trip: 50% of the amount paid to date will be refunded.

- 90-46 days prior to departure: 35% of the amount paid to date will be refunded.

- Within 45 days prior to the start of the workshop: No refund.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

Health:

Participants must be in general good health. Any medical or dietary restrictions must be communicated to us well in advance. We will inform the relevant supplier of your requirements, but we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met and have no liability to you if they are not.

Vaccinations, obtaining visas and all other travel or medical related arrangements are the responsibility of the participant. We advise you to check the latest advice online or consult your doctor.

 

Cancellation by Namaste Premium Travel:

Namaste is not responsible for events beyond its control, such as strikes, wars, acts of government, acts of terrorism, epidemics, or any other cause beyond its control, which may make it impossible, illegal or inadvisable to carry out the trip.

If there are compelling reasons for Namaste Premium Travel to cancel a trip, all payments received will be refunded immediately.

This reimbursement will be the limit of Namaste Premium Travel's liability.

Namaste Premium Travel is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the trip, including non-refundable airline tickets, special clothing, visa or passport fees, or other travel-related expenses.

We advise you to wait with the purchase of airline tickets until the minimum number of participants has been reached.

1A. Namaste Premium Travel is not responsible for the accidents of participants of the trip, nor will it cover medical expenses in case they are necessary. During the trip, each participant is responsible for his/her safety and physical integrity.

1.B. Namaste Premim Travel is not responsible for accidents or loss of photographic equipment during the trip. Each participant is responsible for his/her own photographic equipment.

  1. Punctuality:

2.A The trip begins on a specific date and in a timely manner. All participants must be at the location established for the starting day of the trip. In case of delays due to inconveniences, the participant must contact a Namaste Premium Travel representative as soon as possible.

  1. Respect:

3.A. Respect and patience are the basis of a successful Journey. Participants may be at different levels of knowledge about the subject matter, so patience is required when explaining topics that are already in their domain. Each participant's area of photographing must be respected. Disrespect from a participant to another trip member or staff member will not be allowed.

  1. Weather:

4.A. The tour and its itinerary are weather dependent and may change from one moment to another. We will always be aware of the best weather conditions to determine where to go and optimize the itinerary.
