During the trip, you will visit some of the most emblematic places in the south of Iceland, such as the Snæfellsnes peninsula, the Snæfellsnes peninsula, the South Coast and the VatnajökullVatnajökull National Park.

On the Snæfellsnes peninsula, you will photograph the iconic frozen landscapes, such as Mount Mount Kirkjufell and the black church of Búðir.

DAY 1 (27-11-2023). KEFLAVIK AIRPORT - REYKJAVÍK

Your exciting adventure in Iceland begins with your arrival at Keflavík International Airport (KEF), where our team will be waiting to give you a warm welcome. 

From there, we will transfer to the hotel in Reykjavik, which is about 50 minutes away by car, so you can rest and recover from the trip.

In the afternoon, we will meet in the hotel lobby to meet the group and take a walk around the city. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious dinner together to start this incredible experience.

DAYS 2 AND 3 (28/29-11-2023). REIKIAVIK - SNAEFELLSNES PENINSULA

After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, one of Iceland's natural jewels and home to some of the country's most spectacular scenery. 

There you can admire wild coastlines, the impressive basalt column cliffs of Arnarstapi, the charming black church of Búðir, the lava field of Búðahraun, the fascinating sea pillars of Londrangar and the iconic volcanic mountain of Kirkjufell.

In addition, Snæfellsnes is one of the best places in Iceland to observe the stunning Northern Lights, so keep your eyes peeled and don't forget to have your camera ready to capture this unparalleled natural spectacle.

DAY 4 (30-11-2023). SNAEFELLSNES - KVERNUFOSS - SKOGAFOSS

We will start our fourth day with a sunrise photo session at Kirkjufell, one of Iceland's most iconic landscapes.

Afterwards, we will head towards the southern coast of the country, where epic landscapes and spectacular waterfalls await us that will take anyone's breath away.

We will continue our journey to the impressive Skogafoss waterfall, a gigantic 60-meter high waterfall that will offer endless photographic possibilities. You can get close to the base of the waterfall to capture the texture of the water rushing into the river, or take a wider perspective to show the waterfall framed by the snow-covered cliffs.

In the afternoon, we will enjoy a photo shoot at the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, one of Iceland's most impressive beaches. With its basalt columns, sea caves and vertical cliffs, this place is perfect for experiencing and capturing the natural beauty of the country. At the end of the day, we will explore the possibility of photographing the Northern Lights, one of the most spectacular natural phenomena in the world.

DAY 5 (01-12-2023). VATNAJOKULL NATIONAL PARK

Today we will enter the stunning Vatnajökull National Park, a place of incredible natural beauty.

During the morning we will explore its landscapes of lava rocks, glittering glaciers and impressive waterfalls, as well as desert-like stretches of black sand dotted with sparkling white snow.

In the afternoon we will immerse ourselves in the serenity of the glacial lagoon of Jökulsárlón, where large icebergs float on the surface of the water, before drifting out to sea.

As the sun begins to set, we will head to Diamond Beach, where we will have the opportunity to capture the magnificent sunlight shining through the chunks of ice on the shore. This beach is perfect for practicing long exposure techniques, as the waves sweep over the icebergs lying on the black sand, creating a dreamy slow motion effect.

In the evening, we will explore the possibility of photographing the Northern Lights, an experience that will take your breath away.

DAY 6 (02-12-2023). VATNAJOKULL NATIONAL PARK

We will start the day with a sunrise photo session at the impressive Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon.

Afterwards, we will have the exciting opportunity to visit and photograph an ice cave on a 4-hour excursion;price of the cave visit: $195.

The rest of the day will be spent photographing the beautiful locations of this area, such as the spectacular glacier tongues and waterfalls that dot the black sand landscape.

In the evening, we will again explore the possibility of photographing the Northern Lights, this time hoping to capture them over the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon or in the vicinity of Fjallsarlon.

DAY 7 (03-12-2023). VATNAJOKULL NATIONAL PARK - HOFN

Sunrise on Diamond Beach.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will head towards the impressive Stokksnes Peninsula.

There we will encounter the majestic Vestrahorn Mountain, known as "Batman Mountain" due to its characteristic peaks that resemble the iconic superhero. From the rolling snow-covered black sand dunes to the icy puddles and grassy fields, Vestrahorn's foreground offers a variety of stunning compositions to photograph. Tide permitting, we can capture the reflection of the mountain on the nearby beach or the waves crashing around it.

We will keep an eye out for the possibility of photographing the Northern Lights at night, if the conditions are right.

DAY 8 (04-12-2023). HOFN - VIK - SELJA

We will enter the Skaftafell Nature Reserve, famous for its beautiful scenery. Here, you can photograph glacier tongues, lagoons, the peaks of majestic snow-capped mountains, frozen waterfalls and rivers flowing from glaciers.

We will visit the canyon of Fjadrargljufur.

For sunset, we will return along the south coast to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall.

DAY 9 (05-12-2023). GULFOSS - GESYR - PINGVELLIR NATIONAL PARK 

Today we will explore the natural wonders of the Golden Circle, which include the three main attractions of the route: the impressive Þingvellir National Park, where we can observe the tectonic rifts between the continental plates of Eurasia and America; the fascinating geothermal area of Geysir, where we will see the famous Strokkur geyser spewing hot water 20 meters high; and the impressive Gullfoss waterfall, whose powerful waters fall in two stages into a deep canyon. 

We will have the opportunity to take pictures and admire the natural beauty of Iceland in all its splendor.

When we have finished photographing along the Golden Circle, we will return to Keflavik for the group's last dinner.

DAY 10 (06-12-2023). KEFLAVIK - END OF THE TRIP

After breakfast, we will go to the international airport of Keflavik, for our return flight.

We understand that attending our trips requires a prior commitment and also that things may happen in life that force you to cancel a trip. Depending on the date of cancellation, the following conditions apply:

- More than 150 days before the start date of the workshop: full reimbursement of payments made.

- Between 150 and 91 days before the start of the workshop: 50% of the reservation fee will be refunded.

- 90-46 days before the start of the workshop: 35% of the reservation fee will be refunded.

- Within 45 days prior to the start of the workshop: No refund.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

Participants must be in general good health. Any medical or dietary restrictions must be communicated to us well in advance. We will inform the relevant supplier of your requirements, but we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met and have no liability to you if they are not.

Regarding the Northern Lights, although it is very likely that they can be seen during the month of September, it cannot be guaranteed that they will be visible on any given day of the tour.
