A unique expedition to the wildest India, in search of Bengal tigers.

Namaste Photo Tours is proud to present, our "Wildlife of India" Photo Safari, which will take us to some of the most exciting wildlife destinations in this wonderful country.

The Indian subcontinent is one of the world's most exhilarating destinations. While its mix of cultures has long attracted the attention of historians and travelers, its wild habitats offer rare treasures for nature enthusiasts.

This comprehensive safari takes you away from India's intense cities and into its natural realm, a landscape of mighty rivers, fabled jungles and intriguing wildlife.

From Bandhavgarh to the Brahmaputra basin, this is the native territory of the Bengal tiger, whose numbers are increasing after a century of decline.

Conservation tours are essential to the protection of wildlife in India, and our presence directly benefits the continued existence of tigers and other valuable endangered species, which we will seek out on our daily 4×4 tours.

Join us on the biggest safari in India that we know of!

Trip highlights:
  • Explore three national parks with great wildlife diversity

Explore three of India's major national parks on multiple open 4×4 safaris: you won't find a richer and more varied wildlife-focused itinerary.

  • Search for tigers and much more

Safari with our naturalist guides in search of tigers, one-horned rhinos, Asian elephants, sloth bears, wild dogs, jackals, primates, barking deer and other fascinating species.

  • Stay in premium ecolodges, isolated in the middle of nature.

Relax in comfort in world-class ecolodges, located in India's best wildlife reserves, and avoid the crowds by choosing less-visited destinations.

Why choose us for your Indian wildlife expedition?

India is one of the most captivating travel destinations in the world. But choosing a trip can be overwhelming if you're looking to maximize time in nature, increase your chances of seeing tigers, avoid crowds whenever possible and travel with a superlative guide.

That is why we have designed the ideal expedition in India for nature lovers.

Our trip to India is simply the best way to experience India's extraordinary wildlife.

Here are the reasons:

  • A complete wildlife itinerary... in the less traveled parks

This is the ultimate experience in India for nature lovers. Increase your chances of seeing Bengal tigers, in addition to other Indian wildlife, by visiting three different national parks that are home to some of India's most concentrated tiger populations. Most travelers go to Ranthambore National Park in high season, which is highly publicized and crowded. We, on the other hand, visited the equally attractive Bandhavgarh National Park, plus Kanha and Kaziranga, which are more remote and have far fewer tourists. Kanha also offers some of the best chances to see tigers in India, while Kaziranga offers close encounters with wild rhinos and elephants. We also have the opportunity to see seven species of deer and over 600 species of birds, among an impressive diversity of wildlife.

  • The best naturalist guides

Our expedition leaders in India have an average of over 15 years of experience. You won't find more knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic guides than those who are proud to work for us. Our philosophy is simple: a wilderness adventure is only as good as the guide who leads it, so we offer the best.

  • A small group means more authentic experiences in the middle of nature.
Most visitors to India travel in large groups aboard tour buses, focusing on cities and crowded cultural monuments. But that's not the way to experience India's rich nature, which is our goal. We take only 10 guests, for less impact on nature reserves and more personal encounters with wildlife and local people.
  • Twelve days of activities, focusing on wildlife in diverse habitats.
Spend four days in three world-class wildlife reserves while exploring contrasting Asian habitats: the dry mixed deciduous forests of central India and the wet floodplains and grasslands of the Brahmaputra Basin. Daily morning and afternoon safari departures offer a variety of perspectives.
  • Premium accommodations enhance your safari experience.
When you travel with us in India, our accommodations guarantee you every comfort. The eco-friendly lodges are secluded and offer exceptional services. Each has been selected for its proximity to wildlife and for the high quality of the guest experience.
